The Great North was started in 2016 on the belief that the people of the great North Portland… the people of St Johns, deserved a coffee shop that represented them.
A coffee company that is focused on delivering something special to the neighborhood and cultivating experiences that enrich people's daily lives.
We're the gritty, hard working, love-every-second bunch. We don't need a show or a lot of flashiness. We're going to get after life no matter what goes down.
We're a Pacific Northwest business that values where we source our offerings as much as we care about who we serve.
Over the years, as we’ve grown larger than our tiny nook in North Portland, nothing has changed but we have more neighborhoods that we are committed to and we are proud to provide coffee to other incredible businesses through our wholesale partnership program.
