Arusi
Arusi
This unique coffee was first cultivated in the mountains of the Cauca department of Colombia. At nearly 7,000 feet above sea level, the extreme conditions of the region fostered a natural selection that left one varietal – called Arusi, this coffee's namesake – as the prominent coffee coming out of the area. Known for its remarkable flavor profile and outstanding cup potential, Arusi has gained popularity and is now cultivated in various regions across Colombia. Arusi comes to us from a dedicated collective of producers who are meticulous in their methods, ensuring the purity and quality of this distinctive variety.
This is a washed coffee that undergoes a 24-36 hour ferment before being dried on covered patios. Arusi is a delicate and unique cup with notes of jasmine, lemon bar, and blueberry.
